SUPERHOT Review

SUPERHOT claims to be both stylish and innovative at the same time, but does it achieve this? Let’s find out.

GAMEPLAY

SUPERHOT’s basic gameplay is like a typical fps game except time only moves when you move, or more accurately it moves at a very very slow pace, so you have to not use your fps instinct to run around constantly and play slower and more like a puzzle game. Not to say the game is not hard, it is still very hard. There are easy ways to screw up, like killing a couple enemies, turning around, then seeing a bullet flying at your face. It’s actually a very hard game. it can be very frustrating to have to try the same level over and over again.

VISUALS

SUPERHOT’s art style is great. The red, white, and black color palette looks great—it’s simple but effective. Also, when you kill an enemy, they fly backward, and if you get a headshot, their head shatters into pieces.

STORY

at the start there is no story but at the near the end the story is revealed I won’t spoil it but some of it’s kinda creepy I won’t spoil it but the story is pretty good

FINAL VERDICT

SUPERHOT is a great fps for people who want a less frantic but still very challenging game while the difficulty seems a bit too high it’s still a very good game

SCORE 9/10
